In   today’s post pandemic world where dispersed corporate working environments   may become the “new normal,” my engineering/technology management skills   coupled with leadership/team building experiences in companies with multiple   offices in different countries have resulted in successful growth   opportunities for those companies and these skills are more relevant today   than ever before. Having managed teams in all corners of the world – US,   India, UK, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and Australia 

Having   managed budgets more than $50 million with monthly fiscally responsibility, I   have looked at creative ways to achieve operational efficiency to be   maintained while utilizing fewer expense dollars, which then contributed to   improved profitability resulting in higher EBITA for the company.

In the   area of mergers and acquisitions, I have had the unique opportunity of being   on both sides of the M&A table, being acquired and being the acquirer.   This distinct perspective has given me the ability to strategically plan so   that preparations time required to support the due diligence process is significantly   reduced as well as to be able to produce a positive effect on the deal. 

The   ten years that I was at Informix ingrained in me how products ought to be   correctly and efficiently built, an experience that continues to form the   basis of my analytical approach to strategic planning with special emphasis   on quality.

My   education is the bedrock on which I have built my corporate skills. My BS and   MS engineering degrees from Kansas State University provided the foundation   for me to begin a career involving the engineering and technical worlds. For   example, in my undergraduate years I was able to get a job on campus as a   programmer for the agriculture college, where I built an AI System for   Farmers to use in assisting them in deciding when to sow their seeds and when   to harvest to yield the highest returns.

My underling passion is working with   businesses large or small to help build the model that will enable the   company to grow. The innovation and the creativity that drives our society   forward are inspired by the teachings of engineering. From a very young age,   I was always seen as a leader. My peers would often come to me seeking advice   and direction. I have had the great fortune to have worked for some   outstanding managers who taught me how to manage and to lead. I was able to   take the final image of what the customer wants/needs and break it down to   byte size code for the benefit of the customer and client.
